Marvellous Montmartre Tour
Discover Montmartre's decadent spirit
Join us on a whimsical walking tour of Paris’ artistic and bohemian district, Montmartre!
Welcome to Marvellous Montmartre! Feel the decadent spirit of la Belle Epoque with behind the scenes anecdotes of the Moulin Rouge and one of their most notorious dancers. Relive the exultation of Impressionism as you wander through this little village’s cobbled streets, home to some of the most famous painters of the late 19th century. You'll find out why Van Gogh chose to settle in this particular area of Paris, and how the Assassins' Cabaret earned its name.
Spot the old village's windmills as you discover the quaintest neighbourhood of Paris. Typically French bakeries and gourmet cheese-shops, made famous through the movie Amélie, await you! Pay a visit to Café Les 2 Moulins to see where she worked as a waitress (you can always sample her favourite dessert, the crème brûlée, on your way back down!)
Enjoy the best views of Paris atop of the city’s highest hill known as ‘la Butte’, host to the magnificent Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a breathtaking feat of architecture swaying away from the era's neo-baroque traditions.
This 2 hour culture-rich walking tour will truly inspire you to capture the eternal and romantic atmosphere of Montmartre and take home some original pictures.
